2022-22 Renovate Building "E" At Former Semmes Middle School #12519

East Coast Migrant Head Start Project (ECMHSP) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors in the State of Alabama for the following project:

Major renovation of one wing of existing former middle school building
located at 3810 Wulff Road East, Semmes, Alabama 36575.

The work consists of renovations to an existing 3,740 square foot school building for use by the East Coast Migrant Head Start Project to house Classrooms, Offices, and Support Spaces. The project includes but is not limited to the removal and replacement of interior ceilings, walls, floors, doors, finishes, and mechanical and electrical equipment. Exterior work includes repairs to existing masonry walls and the replacement of roofing, doors, windows, and canopies.

Plans and Instructions to Bidders including specific scope of work requirements have been prepared by Allred Stolarski Architects. Plans can be obtained by contacting www.ASAPlans.com. Questions can be submitted electronically by contacting Hoppy Allred by email at hoppy@allredstolarski.com.

The proposal form attached to the plans is to be returned to the Architect and the Owner by email at Hoppy Allred (hoppy@allredstolarski.com and John Menditto (menditto@ecmhsp.org).
Proposals must be received by 2:00 p.m. on December 22, 2022.

A required pre-bid meeting will be scheduled once the plans are released with eligible, potential, interested participants in the bidding process.

The provisions of the Davis Bacon Act are required for all work. A wage determination will be provided in the bid documents.
